Thread: New BE Question: Creature Food and Flora Food???

i looked under FAQ and no one Responded to it.
Plz let me know where i can get this stuff, is it a resorce harvisted or a Food that is made by a Chef or what??

I harvested a ton of Meat for my Creature Food (about 40k worth). For Flora Food I just bought some Corn for 1 CPU off of the bazaar (20k worth). I figure I'm set for a while.

i always disliked these semantics.
creature food is any type of meat resource.
flora food is any type of non-structural plant-related matter (vegetables, fruit, seeds, etc).

Creature Food: Meat, Eggs, Milk, Mollusks, Crustaceons, Fish
Can Be harvested from creatures, lairs and fishing.
Flora Food: Fruit, Berries, Flowers, Corn, Rice, Greens, Fungi, Wheat, Oats (and any other flora that is not wood)
Can be harvested using any of the three types of Flora Farm or by surveying (surveying enough would take forever though).

Great answers guys ... someone stick in on the end of the FAQ please? (I'd do it but I don't want the FAQ to look like its' me that has written it when all I've done is cut and paste other people's work).

Creature food is any edible material harvested from a creature like Meat.... any kind, scouts/rangers can get this
Flora Food is any kind of edible flora food, like berries, wheat, beans, corn.... etc will need a flora farm harvester to get this.
