Sometime during this week I will surrender my points in the BE class.

During the last 2 month where we set up our shop with Humam Meds, Pet stims/Vit Packs and Skill clothes, I earned lots and lots of money. It was my pride to always fill the vendor with stims, so people could play and have fun. I think I succeded, and the shop had a good reputation. Well, it was not only me, it was all three of us. We all collected meat like mad, so we could keep up with the tissue demand.

But here is exactly where it got very stressfull. Keeping up with the rescources, trying to get enough excellent stuff, so you could get through periods where meat/resources/hide/bone were crap. We were alwasy aiming to get at least plus 15 on the agents. My best...18, on melee defense, and on the dancer agent (enhanced Myoflex cloth treatment). I can not tell you how long we hunted (bought on the bazaar and collected from lairs) to get one stack of 640, and it's 15 eggs per agent.

Further to collect the things for the advanced doctor components to make good stims. Most of the time 3 factories were enough, sometimes we had to use 4. We found a nice rotation in the end, so we had everything ready when I had to run new stims. Then to run harvesters for the BE components like Fiber, Fungus, Gas, Berries, Wood, Flowers and so on. Sometime in the middle of that, when harvester runs, meat/hide/bone collections were done, I had leisure to collect DNA and to craft some creatures.

It does not sound so bad now, but if you consider that you have to collect 2 different statistical types of meat to make good agents and creatures, imagine the storage you need for that. I had to use 2 houses to keep everything sorted for the different types of agents. The good statistic for creature meat is (in that order): OQ, PE and DR. For the tissue agents: OQ, PE and Flavor. For 5 to 10 agents, thats not so bad, but we used so much, that we had to run at least 100 agents in one go. That is at least 2500 meat and you use 4 ingredients per agents. In many cases two stacks of differnt kind of meat.

IF it was not for my friends, I could not have done all that. In my opinion, one BE alone, is never ever able to collect all that and keep up with the demand. It is impossible. The weekly shifts do not make that any easier,as you have to check for new rescources, and to check every single meat rescource on every planet.

Anyways, I stop ranting now, it was a nice experience, but quite stressfull in places. There is a lot of development needed for BE, but it is not as bad as most people say. Please do not forget, all the power is in the Master skill, with experimentation. If you only have a few boxes filled, then your creations will be average or below, but that's how it should be.

Good luck BE's
