I've recently got DNA sampling 4. heh not exactly easy. for DNA 1 I'd say sample the newbi stuff around the cities. for lvl 2 around the cities is still ok.. or try to sample stuff like a cu pa's on tat or things around that lvl. for DNA 3 probably stuff around teh cities again... dont know for sure. but for lvl 4 this one is tough to get. grind it out around the cities like the rest or. do what I did. go tot he squill cave on tatooine. average sample is 270 for a hunter. 370 for female squill, or 410 for guardian. just make sure to haev a high lvl mask scent.

I've actually had good luck on Dantooine harvesting from Huurton and Pickets. Huurton net somewhere around 250-300 xp, Picket's do close to 400-500 xp. But be warned Huurton will slay you, if you make them mad, and they group attack you. This wasn't a big deal when decay wasn't in effect, but now it may effect you greatly. Pickets also can get mad, luckily, they won't kill you right away, but they can, especially a protector. Until you get to DNA 3, I wouldn't even bother trying to sample Bol's they'll just get mad at you and kill you.

As you get up into the DNA tree, I would strongly suggest you check out Endor. LOTS of medium to high-lvl mobs that don't have deathblow (aggro and non-aggro).

Not to mention the best critter around for sampling, the blurrg!

I found the key to not get agroed is to maskscent and sample. you can sample on and on until you see a ? come up over the creatures head. when that happens start sampling another creature close by or wait 20-30 seconds or until it starts moving once again. been sampling all weekend and never DB'd or incapped more than 7 times i think. good luck!
