Ok these might be dumb and redundant questions, but I've looked thru the last 4 pages of threads and can't find consistent answers. (could just be me)

1) Can any form of Dewback be made into a mount useable by a Non-CH?

2) If no to 1, then can BE's make the "new"? lessor dewbacks into mounts and Can those even Be made into mounts, wild or BE made?

3) If no to the above, is the only rideable mount for non-CH Carrion Spats and Kaadus?

4)Any info on Bols and how they relate to the above questions?

** note ** I'd rather walk then ride the vultures and ducks, to I have any options?

I only know of BE made kaadus and spats for non CH. There was talk of maybe being able to freeze the growth at some point but I'm not familiar with that. The lesser versions of higher CL creatures cannot be made by BEs, only tamed from the wild....which I find truly disturbing. There are lesser bols that can be tamed from the wild. Why they couldn't of left us with just 1 pet like the Bol to not produce babies so that you could only get it from a BE is beyond me.

Lessor bols and dewback are available from a ch. I have found tons of them since the last patch. With a 900 ham they grow fast and I am able to sell them quick. They are both non ch pets. O and BTW there is also low plains faumasets, and brackesets also non ch ride.

No, we were lied to when Thunderheart said we could lower the CL ratings of the clones so that everyone can have every type of mount.

No, so once agian the bio-engineers are cut out of what is supposed to be OUR market by the creature handlers who can supply species that we cannot.

It appears that these 'lesser' species are indeed appearing in the wild so a CH can supply them. They aren't even all that rare it wouldseem either.

4)Any info on Bols and how they relate to the above questions?

Speak to a CH, they can supply them.. the all-powerful masters of genetics cannot.

1. Lesser Dewbacks are supposed to get to CL10 so, those would be usable to non-ch

2. I beleive that the dewback blueprint for the BE's is the regular, not the lesser dewback version, they are CL18, I doubt they can 'down' them that much

3. there are more(not many), but they have been listed several times so I'm not repeating them (check CH or Flurry boards)

4. Bols are CL30 so I doubt I will see you riding one of those

AS for BE Bols, after the patch I made a bunch, tamed them and they can be made into mounts. Supplying my guild with them, as they look better than Dewbacks, IMHO. But yes, Bols made by a BE can be made into mounts. Think it is when they are CL12 they can be mount trained.

Well we're keeping Kimogila and can tone them down to be useable apparently. Now thats gonna be a minimum of a drop from the usual CL90 to CL60. So we can assume either a percentage drop or a fixed amount of CL ratings we can drop.

If it's CL rating based then getting a Dewback from CL18 to CL10 is very possible for a master. Maybe as you progress up the eng tech tree you can lower the CL more and more. Maybe ET1 gives you the ability to lower by -5, then ET2 gives you an additional -5, ET3 gives a -10 and then ET4 gives you another -10. Leaving with perhaps a -10 for master as well I dunno.

However if it's percentage based then a drop from 90 to 60 is around 22%. Thus if you apply that to a Dewback you have it around CL15. But assuming the devs can be beleived then we can lower the CL of all mounts far enough to allow at least for more mounts than the kaadu or the carrion spat when the system corrects itself to CL10 for non-ch. Even so, if the new CL10 doesnt go in we can still get a dewback to CL15 which is fine for the current system.

So i'd say assuming we can beleive Keldarin about this system then we'll certainly have no problem with making lower level mounts.

There a BOLs with 900 HAM available very common in the wilderness of Dantooine.

The BOLs we make are way more powerful, and a higher CL.

And since Now the DNA sampling has again been FIXED!!!

It makes it even harder to get good DNA to make anything that good, so even if we make one it wont be better then a wild one.

And BEFORE you BUG ME...I am a MASTER CH/MASTER BE.

The SAMPLING got messed up becasue even as a master I have troubles...most of the time I fail on the tougher creatures...which makes the skill a Death Trap Again.

Oh well....I tried to make better stuff...but I cannot very easily anymore or I just plain can't.

I try to give my stuff away...and no one wants it.


So now I just use my Titles and Proffession to Role Play with...since the rest of it doesnt do anything useful.

I wish you had better news, and Sincerely hope they fix cloning for you and the ability to lower the CL of your creations etc. The concept of BE looks pretty cool they should give you cool giant test tubes and machinery to grow your pets in.....well after they fix the stuff you need fixed.
