Thread: Our one fix isn't fixed!!!
Alleged fix
Bioengineers component stacking Tailor Component stacking. Effects from SEPERATE slots will now stack correctly. A MAXIMUM of 6 effects can exist per final crafted item.
The test
I ran off a factory run of 100 tensile resists, I got a master tailor to do a factory run of 100 Reinforced Fibre Panels, then when we tried to create our +24 melee defence/+25 Stun defenceJump suits we got +4/+16 instead. Our one fix in the last patch isn't fixed Aaaaaarrrrghhh!!!!
Anger rising
They have a list of updates in the test doesn't anyone from SOE actually test the fix list just to make sure it works? I try to stay optimistic, I really do, but I am really starting to get annoyed. ![]()
Has anyone else tested this?
Annago
It apparently only works in items that have seperate slots for components... of which only multiple synth cloth items exist (2 totally seperate slots to put synth cloth into)... no 2 fiber panels items exist... and finally you can't put 6 stackedtreated cloths into 1 slot to get the stacking.
Hope that answers your question and explains it well enough.
I have not heard anyone say that the same stat would stack.
You can add like Active Bio with Constrictor though.

Anyone actually TEST the new stacking? For example: I have a sunguard (2 separate synth cloth slots) with +12 Wound healing crap (using 2 separate +12 tissues => should be +24). I have yet to test this again post patch. Anyone else try yet?
Well, I did the following:
I made a wookiee sage hood (4 seperate synthetic cloth slots). I added 2 +15 medical tissues and 2 non-modded tissues. Result: NO BONUS! Now, I've read that some tailors have been successful in this, and there are a lot of theories going around as to how to work around this (ala the "remove tissues from crate" workaround in prior publishes) but to me this is actually working much worse than before from a tailor's perspective. At least until the bug is understood a bit better and a workaround is in place.
