We used to be able to build ranged attacks into our BE pets, but apparently post-CU we cannot. There have been a few people that were successful in creating ranged attack BE pets recently, BUT they were using pre-CU DNA. Post-CU DNA no longer carries the ranged attack ability that I know of, sorry ![]()
The "cap" looks to be 1000, though it has been discussed whether or not there are stats higher than 1000, just invisible. Critters like Sawtooth and Uller Stoneclaws have 1000 capped Hardiness. They're on Kashyyyk.
As far as which stats make a "good" CL10 critter, it really depends on the play style of the person that is going to use it. If you're a CL80 combatant (or even a low level), you might want a CL10 that has higher damage (240 I *think* is the CL10 damage cap) over health stats since you'll be taking most of the damage anyway, and if you're a non-combatant you might want more of a "tank" CL10 with higher health over damage to take some of the blows off of you. Or you might try for something in between. I have a CL10 formula that has around 1.9k health and 230 max damage. Good for that higher level person who just wants a boost in damage and isn't concerned about the pet taking damage. I also have a CL10 that has around 2.5k health and around 130 max damage. A better "tank" pet.
When it comes to the sample qualities, there doesn't seem to be a WHOLE lot of difference - it's mostly in the stats. For example, take a VHQ sample and compare its stats to an AA sample and see. Unless I'm working with a formula/recipe that is VERY touchy or I'm trying to get all that I can out of something, I don't pay a lot of attention to the qualities usually. That's just my $0.2 ![]()
Good luck!
