Thread: Bug Related to BE-Clothing

No idea if this a new bug or if this has been brought up already.
(Sorry if it is already known)
The Stat modifiers of Bio-Engineered clothing doesnt apply on equipping the clothing but on travelling. (tested with a BE Terrain Negotiation Bandolier)
(base TN 40, with a AA that was always equipped 50, bandolier has +15)
How i/you can repeat it:
Make a Macro like this: /way; /pause 60; /way;
Try crawling on even terrain (a Starport for example), with TN 50 i got 23m in 1 minute.
Equip the Bandolier and try again (should see an increase but its still 23m)
Shuttle to a different Shuttleport/starport and try again
With Bandolier i get 43m in 1 minute
After de-equipping the bandolier i still get 43m (so no stat updates)
I will cross-post to the tailor board if needed, but it seems to belong here.

not sure if it belongs here or not, but it does belong in the in-game bug report. Have you done this yet?

Jeah, i did /bug it ingame...
gonna repost it in the live issues thread and the tailor forum, if it doesnt belong here

I think your problem is "crawling".
Head to a hilly or mountainous area and go uphill with and without the attachments/enhancements.
There, you will see the difference.

Yesthis isa well known and documented bug, has been like it for some time, there has recently been quite a few posts about it on the tailor forums, keep /bugging it and hopefully they will fix it.

Terrain Negtiation 0-50 improves your movement on un-even terrain, 50+ increases crawling speed. So crawling on a flat ground is the best way to get compareable results, as i would have 65 TN with the bandolier.

hmm interesting, the be mods seem not to work but the CAs do i think , which is a bumer
