Im posting this for a BE who is currently attempting to make a pet with everything towards damage. He said he thought he could get around 100-500 damage and a 2 hit around 190... I might be a little off on the 2 hit. After a few tries he hasnt been able to get the pet to be A. below 70 and B. not a piece of crap. Im wondering what dna he should be using andIf you can get damageand 2 hit this high. Thanks for the help

... well Ive been looking around on my server for a while and everyone seems to be dropping it or not making pets. Do you think you could give me a more contructive answer like what kind of DNA to use?

well pet dna slides depend on what the predicted max level on the pet will be. What is your max pet level? 70?

This is my highest ranking "to hit" specimen thus far:
Gurrcat - level 25
health 2689 with a 510 health regen(51)
Armor 1374
To hit: 100 --> based on final DNA plate cleverness of 467
defence value: 108
20.9/ 1.37/ 2.12/4.25
damage 50-250 (kept a bit low for the mid 20's level goal)

the to-hit value will reset to a CL-based value, ignoring any crafted results, on taming.

Yes... that's very lame, as is the armor rating.

Ya, did you notice they did the same thing to droids too. hummm.... Go Figure, I always thought levels would ba a bad thing. But all pets/droids will be balanced. I'm curious, are level 30 pets coming out the same as level 30 droids???

A level 30 came out like

Armor 1217
Damage 61-284
To Hit 81
Defense Value 81

Health is the only one that I know for sure will vary
Level 30 droid was 3742

Okay I understand the 2 hit then. Now how do I get my level 70 pet to have 500 damage?

I'm curious to why you think it was a bad pet. In Post-CU land we have even less control manipulating the CL Calculations. Since the Armor, To-hit, and Def values shift to match CL, if you're able to 500 Damage and CL <70 the other stats (namely Health) are pretty much pre-determined and not going to change much.

Check out this thread to see some examples of high damage pets and their stats. Also check out Joker's thread on damage calculations.

well it wasa bad pet for me because all I want is damage. I dont care about any other stats other then high damage and level 70 and a ranged attack would be good. Everything else is a bonus. This is for pvp when noene ever hits my pets until im dead.

Thanks for the stickies ill check em out
