Thread: Dumb question about research cities

hey im moving from a research to a nonresearch city. Dumb question but how is this gonna effect me. Does a research city simply give a greaterchance of Amazing successes? This is what i assume but im not sure.
Any help would be great.

Yes, thats pretty much it. You get a bonus to every experimentation roll. I think that bonus also applies to the initial assembly roll. I dont know how far pet crafting utilizes that bonus though, since it is not the vanilla crafting system used for all other craftable items.

It did used to have an adverse effect when crafting some of the non-ch pets if memory serves me right, not sure if that would apply now though.

it didn't work at all, back in the dark days. but then, neither did food.
now? crit fails on assembly still lose DNA. I'm not convinced that all of BioE crafting is really 'crafting', since it still shows throwback rules.
