which armor are we certed for?

Recon armor.... You don't get all encombrance removed, but it does help if you can get an AS to add 4 kenitic enhancements to the cores so it has as high as possible kinetic mitagation as possible.

I believe BE's are certed for Battle armor, actually.


I think that in general, whatever level you are certed for you could also wear any levels below. For example being certed for Battle you could wear Recon, and being certed for Assault you could wear Battle or Recon.

This is incorrect. Armors do not work on a level system. No one armor is better then another. Armor is profession specific. If it is working like this, then it is a bug. And should be reported as such.

Nope, it's the only armor my BE/Weaponsmith can wear. Trust me it's recon. If you have other combat skills, you can use other armor granted by those. However just because you are certed for one armor, you are not certed for another.

If you are able to wear battle and recon i think maybe you have a second proff that has a battle armor cert in it, a BE without any other prof can wear recon armor only.

Yes, I am BE & CH. I am certed for Battle because of CH, and certed for Recon because of BE. Hence my confusion and misunderstanding.
