Has anyone been able to successfully create a pet with an armour rating?

If not then is this a bug? i cant believe it would be intentional for BEs not to give pets armour rating considering the DNA itself says it has Light armour!

I created a light armor kimogila this morning with DNA from a rancor last week.

The DNA changed from old too new and showed the armor on it. I assume that you need to sample super high DNA in order to get armor, etc..

Thats using Pre-Patch DNA though, has anyonemanaged to get an armour rating with the DNA we can get now?

I think if you sample DNA from a creature that has an armor rating then you will get DNA with armor.

Same with special attacks and ranged attacks, etc

My question is.. If I used ranged attack DNA in a gnort will it have a ranged attack?

Theres a chance it will have ranged attack, more dna with the ranged attack used and the higher the chance. Theres already one confirmed report from test server of someone making a kimo with ranged attack.

I have been using DNA with armour rating, infact iused 5 slinking veritor DNA and 5 veritor hunter DNA (they have light armour) yet the final DNA template was armourless!

I got all new riverside suplhur mynock dna samples and they all had light armor (cl33)- but the strange thing is that hey had only 500 ish stats all the way down but were all high level samples. I made about 5 crits with all the riverside sulphur mynock dna and while all the samples had light armor - nothing came out in the clone. This leads me to believe that dna stats values play a big roll in armor going into the clone.
