I emailed all of my customers that wanted animals this guide, let me know what you think guys:

CL x 1000 +

Sum of resists x10 +

Max damage x 5 +

2k per armor level +

Special attacks (requested perhaps) 2k each +

Ranged Attack 2k =

This may be a bit complicated but it seems to be alright? everybody let me know if this is acceptable or any changes you might make.

I like the format but I will be doubling all of your multipliers since I dont plan on taking many orders. I mainly got into BE to feed my MCH fantasies.

Also..although Tal-N hasa point..its inevitable that some kind of formula will make its way into the profession and be used by alot of people. This is a good start though since it takes more than CL into account.

Go over to the CH forums and search for threads with "effective HAM" in the title. Here's one.

MCH have used this formula to determine pets value and compare them for a long time.

It converts armor/resists (kinetic for PvE mainly) into HAM, so all pets can be compared equally. It takes the armor resist rules of the game into proper accounting to figure a level comparator for creatures.

Then add your modifiers for special attacks and speed at 5% or whatever.

Best base comparison and base for pricing I've seen.
