trash are the creatures you can find outside any of the non player cites. i.e. outside moenia you can find spineflaps, nunas, chubas, etc...these are known as trash. aggros are creatures that will attack you without being provoked. i.e. narglatches. those you need to stay away from unless you have some sort of combat skills in case they do attack you. also, if you don't have it already, try going up the exploration tree of scout if you have the points available, helps reduce the number of aggros that can happen.
