Thread: Tissues and Chefs

I've been reading a bit about the new foods that chefs are getting. For the most part they seem pretty cool, and the new food additives show promise (although they do seem to take too many resources to make). One thing that did catch my eye however were some foods that give bonuses to Mask Scent, Melee Defense and Taming. Does anyone else feel that this might devalue the clothing enhancements that give the same bonuses?

Interesting point, but I doubt it if it will devalue the tailor tissues because clothing last a lot longer than food. I still use the same pants and shirt I got months ago.

Our bonuses cap at 25 effectively (even though the UI will show more) I'm just wondering if food stacks on top of this or not - not seen that addressed anywhere.

It probably stacks because you can get mind buffs from a musican/dancers and then take food for additional mind increase. I would expect the same here (but probably still witht the +25 cap ).

I suppose what I'd really like to see is a better variety of clothing enhancement tissues, rather than worrying about chef moving in on our already extremely limited market. For one thing, you would think that the first tissue bio engineers would research would be for DNA Sampling and Hunting!

that's a GREAT ^%&$ing idea although i disagree with low lvl tissues being able to supply this

dna sampling modifiers would be a really nice addition for fellow bio-engineers and hunting would help anyone with scouting out immensely, also opening up a good market for these tissues.... something the bio-engineer profession greatly needs
