Well hard ... yes sometimes.
I got DNA with yard trash mobs. Dearic, Talus is a nice spot there. Many low lvl mobs with few players. (Hurton pup is 61xp)
With DNA1 you can go a little higher I guess. See what meat is good and hunt the lvl15 stuff with it. Is sampling fails, you get attacked and get meat. (Plains Tusk Car was 200xpish)
At DNA2 I went to Dant, getting picket longhorn females.
Milk them, sample them. Worst case you get herbivore meat, which is fine, too. (Got Voritor Dasher as well, 300xp I think)
I just got DNA3 and tested some Naffs last night.
Out of 2 lairs, not a single mob aggroed me, not even the bulls. (bull 450xp, naff 350xpish)
DNA4 / Master? Dunno ... The rest I guess.
For Sampling I guess there are 2 theories:
Grind it with safe mobs high lvl naffs) or low lvl (trash) or get some DNA you might use.
I build some nice lvl9/10 pets last night, actually getting crafting XP as well as DNA.
Up to you pref what playstyle you like I guess

Most all of the food suppliments crates are 25 per crate..And yes you can pump them out on a factory like any other proffession given the right resources..If you do plan on doing this word of the wise, have plenty of friends and/or friends that love hunting and harvesting meat. If you don't you will be doomed for a all crafting bio would struggle in his/her proffession if they do not have some friendly support to gather things that require to be killed before you actually get its resource.

well if you choose to be MBE + Mchef to produce your own buffed food, then you have to know that a BE additive are quite long to produce ( 40h for40 cratesof 25
. So in order to provide enough Additive you have to use 6 factory no stop, and even with that i cant provide enough additive for my chef( he use 10k per week ).
Also the main issue i have right now is how the hell could i buy 250k good quality meat per week ...

I'm Currently A Master Merchant, almost Master Chef.. I've been thinking of takineg up a 2nd crafting prof, but people have been tellin me recenty to go BE for the food additives to make better food. If I do this, I'd have to lose almost all of my merchant skills, discounts and advantages, but still be able to keep advertising 3 and maybe management 1... Can bio-engineers Mfg their own food suppliments in factory crates that can be used in the crafting and manufacturing of Chef food? AS in, can the BE basically use a factory to pump out Crates of additives and if so, how big are the crates.. 25, 50 or other?

I just recently picked up BE again and started working with a soon to be Master Chef.
He is happy that I unload most of my grinded stuff at his vendor so he can enhance his food easily.
Hes now so fond of the stuff that he ordered 400 pieces, in crates of course. I havent yet finised a crate, but I assume size will be 50 (as in Stimpack components)
With the new Chef Food, the demand goes up so BE Stuff will be more requested as well.
So as for your question: Yes, nice combination indeed and it is now possible to Factory craft the stuff.
If you "only" want to do the Food Additives, you might want to consider doping 0404 BE first. Thats Tissues & Tech. You wont get the MBE Schematics, but it might be worth a try. If you really like it, you can still go Master.

I'd probab;y want the MBE schematics... is the DNA sampling line hard.. what do you have to do for that?
