I guess the Correspondent Forum isn't supposed to be viewable by the public, but it is at the moment. As such, I've been thumbing through it and one particular thread caught my eye. A thread saying that Chefs aren't having fun any longer.

The thread starts out discussing the insane (my words) resource requirements for crafting a craft of brandy. Numerous other correspondents jumped into the conversation, including Talthazar, who is discussing the difficulty in acquiring the large amounts of hunted resources needed by BEs.

I'm hoping this conversation can convince the Devs that regardless of their theories to the contrary, Rangers and Scouts just aren't doing the job. As Talthazar pointed out, our resource requirements have increased, while the ability to attain said resources has remained the same.

The Pistoleer correspondent kinda pissed me off though, in suggesting that the BE profession could be scrapped and rolled into the Chef profession and nobody would notice.

BE would definately be missed. Ya' know what wouldn't be missed? Ranger. Give tracking to bounty hunters. Give camping to squad leaders. Give sneaking/cover kits to smugglers. Give resource gathering bonuses to scout/chef/Be. Walla.

Something needs to be done about the resource problem though.
