If you had to choose just 2 full "branches" from Pistoleer "tree", which ones would make the most sense, be most effective?

Marksmanship and Special abilities

Marksmanship due to the +s to moving shots, and Special abilities for the melee knockdown

Haha,

I will go exactly opposite and say Tactics (only up to expert for bodyshot 3) and stances and grips for defense bonuses and some excellent specials. I dont find accuracy a problem now so I dont think wasting skills point and boatloads of XP to increase my accuracy is worth it. As for the melee defense, I do find that quite valuable and will be getting it myself, but for just getting 2 trees I say Tactics and Stances & Grips.

Actually, you can use any droid. The key is that it must have a medical module installed. The more powerful the medical module, the better you'll be able to heal. Best I've seen is 110% healing capability (meaning that you can heal 10% better using your droid than in the med center).

I believe that surgical droids are supposed to inherently have the abilities bestowed by a medical module, but are bugged. Instead, you have to have a medical module installed.

Personally, I use an R2 unit witha Level 6 Medical Module.

I picked up a nice double armoured (medium armour) advanced Probot complete with 110% medical module and a food/chem crafting station built in for around 20k on naritus. I just used the global map on corellia and found a vendor selling them 1 km eastish of coronet - sorry but the name of the place escapes me.

The reason I bought a probot is sometimes I am an idiot and forget to ungroup my droids when I enter combat - had one full of pets pre-pet storage nerf die and lost 20 pets that way. Pretty hard to accidentally get a probot with 820 ham bars and medium armor killed like that, and I think they don't even die anymore, but I am paranoid and it was the same price as r2-r5's anyway.

ok was wondering this for quite sometime now, and I searched to see if this came up before in the forums but couldn't find it.

if you get 4+ sith holocrons does that mean you'll start off down the dark jedi path? or does it matter?

and if you get 3 regular holo's and 1 sith wth does all this mean.

sorry didnt really pay attention to holos and all the jedi information, until i got one.

they all say the same thing in any order or combination you use them in. The type doesn't matter.

Don't worry about it, any holo is fine. Some speculate that the different types tell you professions in a different order, but right now the accepted idea is that Sith and Jedi holos tell you the same (up to 4) professions.

These have no bearing on your Jedi character. You can open the slot without ever using one. Once you are a padawan, you can choose the light or dark path for yourself.

What is the best thing to make (as in best XP) to get to Tailor? Seems like everything I make is crap XP and takes a lot of money and time..
