Thread: Sample Bull Rancors?

I am thinking of going Bio-Eng with some Creature Handler. Hoping to tame and use the creations I make. I probably won't have enough skill points for master scout to see the creature level.
Can Bull Rancors be sampled? Since CHs can tame the babies can BEs sample them (or maybe just sample the babies? As rare as they may be, maybe no one has had the chance.)
Also, has anyone ever seen or know the creature level of a Monsterous Beast? It is a Rancor that pops out at the end of an Enraged Bull Rancor lair (I believe it was an Enraged Bull lair, not just Enraged Rancors). It did not seem as difficult as the Enraged Bulls, so maybe it could be sampled for something different.

Welcome to the BE profession. Indeed Bull Rancors can be cloned although we should direct your attention to the FAQ. Please read it, it holds vital informaiton and should be a bible for you (random spot checks will be administered). Unfortunately, special attacks such as plague strike, area combo, force strike, poison spray ecetera can be cloned through onto pets and result in a blank special. This is one of the few advantages of wild pets over cloned pets (else we'd all have cl10 pets with plague strike and force strike). You should also be aware of a CL75 'hard cap' believed to be imposed upon us, this excludes monstrous brutes and also enraged rancors from our sampling range- the highest level creature we can sample are Mutant Rancors and samples are notoriously difficult to get for many reasons.
