Go to the bazaar in an NPC city and look under pet deeds. Scroll through those deeds and look at the various animals for sale. Make sure to check different planets as well. Prices can vary from one location to another. Those prices should give you an indication of what animals go for on your server.

Every server economy is different. I can give you a price but it may not resemble anything that you will find on your server.

*I forgot to add the part about making sure to click the vendor search tab on the bazaar.

Please note that this is NOT a trade forum (this includes requesting the services of a galaxy specific BE), as stated by Jeassa

here
. This forum is purely for the discussion of the Bio-Engineer
profession.

There are a number of things you can do to find what you are looking for, you
can:

- Use your specific galaxy trade forum found
here.

- Use the Bio-Engineer vendors list found

here
to find a registered BE on your server.

- Login to your character and use the map to find a Bio-Engineer vendor on your
planet.

- Use the auction channel on your server and advertise for one.

- Use the search function in game and look for a Bio-Engineer near you.

- If all else fails, you can use the search function to hire a
ranger
and get them to track a Bio-Engineer for you (usually hanging out in sordid
cantinas or playing with small animals).

Anyhoo....

Pets are a lot harder to price which is why I recommended you browse the market on your server. A +86 chef tissue or a +4/+17 tailor tissue is going to be just like every other +86 or +4/+17 tissue.

Animals, on the other hand are going to vary widely. The HAM, the resists, the damage, even the type of skin the template is put in will all play into the value of the animal. For instance some creature handlers want large pets, such as the rancor, while other creature handlers only want fast animals, such as the cat skins. Those variables make pricing animals much more difficult. You're going to get a much better indication what you should charge by looking at the animals you're competing against in your market.

Hope that helps.

I'm not sure if Zaddock understood that you were a BE looking to price a pet to sell to a customer rather than a customer looking to see what price a BE pet should be? It seems to me that as you are a BE, looking FOR another BE is not going to help you to price the pet but that actually Boo's suggestions seem sound and will be quite easy.

PERSONALLY I just use the Hoof and Horn pet pricing tool which can be foundHERE. Don't forget to visit Belisama's excellent site as well which is found HERE.

In general, on the Galaxy Trade forums, when someone asks for a "price check" what they are really asking for are bids on the item. Nearly every thread that asks for a price check immediately turns into an auction. So it may have just been an unfortunate choice of words (or obscure abbreviation) if the intent was to seek an appraisal of the creature.

I can't be everywhere. Oh and you're free to do whatever you want, I merely make suggestions to help you. How you interpret my suggestions is your business. If you see them as adversarial then you have an aggressive nature and I don't like aggressive people. Therefore, your comments may be justified although it seems to be a self fulfilling prophecy. Would you care to discuss this further?
