OK i have posted this on the chef forum, the trade and now here. I suppose i should have started here first!
As per subject, i need a BE or two to either produce BE components for me, or sell schematics to me so that i can make my own components (I'd obviously have to supply the resources for the schematic).
Can anyone help?

No, you should not have started here. You shouldn't have posted this here at all. Look in the stickies. There's one that says "THIS IS NOT A TRADE FORUM" and another witha list of BEs organized by server and how to contact them.
Please do not post trade topics in this forum.

I don't discuss Bio-Engineering on the Radiant galaxy trade board so pay me the same courtesy and don't advertise business here.

Try posting again on your server trade forum. I realize it is frustrating to not have any replies but it may simply be that there are no available BE's to go into partnership with you (see the excellent post on why you cannot find BE's on your server in the recent postings). Don't forget to ALWAYS state your server tho. I didn't see it on your post ... ? (edit: just realized it is radiant but i really had to look for it).
In-game, you might try to see what BE's are selling stuff on vendors/bazaar (very easy to do now) and then send them a mail in-game. Not all BE's read these forums but I think most BE's do sell thing occasionally. Remember - it's the creators' name, not the merchant's name you are looking at because we BE's don't usually have enough points left over for merchant.
Good luck to you and apologies for all my fed up collegues - don't take it personally - they're just tired of people posting for BE's. Seem to be a shortage of us
Yours,
Dorelli (master BE bloodfin)

Thanks Dorelli
I am sorry i offended so much. I must admit i read no posts in this forum as i am not a BE. I guessed that it would be a good place to post, but i was wrong. *hangs head in shame*
I have posted elsewhere now, and will avoid the BE forum in future. Again i apologise.

Don't avoid us, we are nice people, but you've fallen into the trap that many people do and that's post trade posts - despite not taking the time to glance over the stickies to see that 'this is not a trade forum'. Come back and see us if you need help with bio-engineering.

do you think it would be useful if we made a sticky called 'Guidelines for posting on this forum - please read before you post' ? then we could just put the stuff about the trade forum and reading the FAQ?
Just an idea.

Unfortunately, unless the thread read "Hey Dorelli! Yes you, read this thread right now before you post about needing BEs!" (for example) most people that do post LTB threads wont realize what we say applies to them

I think the only way it would be read is if it were titled "SECRET WAY TO GET FREE SCHEMATICS"

hehe I like that.
Why not call it:
BE PARTNERSHIP SCHEMATIC CLUB - SIGNUP INFO
and then we explain policy ...

Nahh, i don't think even that would work for people like me. I had no intention of reading any thread before i posted. I really didn't realise there would have been a problem, and as I am not a BE don't generally read your forum. Completely my fault i understand, and once again, i say sorry. But you will always get fools like me.
