I just started playing BE recently and I'm almost done with the crafting and almost to my 3rd box in harvesting DNA.
So far I haven't really crafted a creature that I feel is very good or have found a few decent stable recipes.
Could a few of you please post your most common recipes for creatures? Maybe a stable CL10 recipe - mine always turn out to be CL11-CL20 and possible a couple nice CL20 creatures with high damage?
I would appreciate it since managing 20 dna stats over 5 samples isn't easy. I realize there are dna laboratory websites and all, but copying down 100 numbers doesn't seem fun and I havne't found that the crafting results for creature stats to be that consistent enough to bother optimizing to that level.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome,
I'd suggest that you start with the FAQ sticky. In there are some links to recipe threads. Also there are threads posted all the time containing pet recipes (I see 3 or 4 of them on the first page alone), so the best thing I can suggestis to spend some time thumbing through the forum to find them. In general, the more willingness a newcomer shows to spending some time to learn the profession, the most willing the vets are to share with them.

Also,
And I am not sure about this because it was such a long time ago, but I remember that as a less-than-master BE, somehow that THIS recipe which is used by many to make reliable level 10's:
VD (voritor dasher)
VD
SV (sevorrt - or any small 'junkie' animal with small number stats)
SV
SV
points intophysique only - do not let hardiness go above 350 (thanks to Boo for this one - and see other recentposts of his for tips on this recipe)... this works all the time for me.
But it didn't work very well when I wasn't a master. I admit I did not use SV dna then, it was probably rill or something like that, but it still should have gotten close. I didn't know to not go above 350 either. However, having said that, I don't know if it was ME, or if it was the DNA samples being worse in quality or if it was because I had less ability to put things together and experiment and so on but I didn't get it to work.
I handed some of my AA, HQ voritor dasherDNA to a new BE fairly recently sort of to test this out. She went off and got her own junk DNA from outside mos E and then we stood together at a public crafting station and she made up a level 10 with no problems. Actually, she then sold it in about 5 seconds b/c someone came along and asked if we could make level 10 pets
So, obviously it is possible, and it was maybe just ME - but my advice is to persevere - that the recipes that you think don't work for you, MIGHT if you keep trying. Oh, and my 'test BE' had a critical fail in the first one or two out of about 3 she tried. It brought to mind the number of critical fails that *I* had when I was starting out - really dispiriting when you are dealing with hard to get DNA
Good luck to you and just keep trying! It gets much better... I wish that someone had told me to work on the experimentation tree first although of course it is obvious to me now ... it just didn't seem very exciting at the time ...
