Thread: Need Help with Base Slicing part of BE

I saw the example here http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=93064
But was hoping someone could explain it to me in more detail, because with my current knowledge of DNA / RNA strands i can only get 1 match per, matching the first letter of the sample strand. The rest doesn't make sense to me.
