Thread: Active Tranqualizer for BE clothing.

Does anybody have any detailed info on what materials I should use to get the best possible results, or at least close to them? With the recient tailoring fix, I'd really like to make some high quality Active Tranqualizers. Can anybody tell me what the maximum numbers are, or if it's even possible to hit the 100% mark?

What I need to know is:

What 'FOOD' should I use?

What/Where should I gather the milk from?

What/Where should I gather the bones from?

Which reptile on which planet should I gather the Reptilian Meat from?

ok, i think for these tissues what you need is creature food. what creature food is is meat that you harvest after killing a creature.

milk comes from mainly things that look like cows or cattle. lesser bols have milk. some pikets have it, banthas, faambas, and cu pas have it also. a bunch of creatures have milk but the trick is getting enough of itfast enough. you will need mask scent to even be able to extract milk from a creature, so if you are lacking that ability you cant do it. next you want to group with a level 80 person because the higher the level of the creatures you are milking the more milk they will yield.

bones are obtained the same way meat is, through harvesting after killing a creature as im sure you know if you are a BE. just go for the best overall quality you can find in a bone. theres no secrets.

reptile meat you can find 2 ways. one way is just simply kill a few things, harvest their meat to see what type of meat it is. another way is to be a ranger and that way just examining a creature will tell you what type of meat they give. dewbacks, bocatts, faambas and cu pas all give reptile meat.theres a few more creatures that give it but to find the best reptile and best resources in general you might want to check swgcraft.com. whichever server you are on they may have listed the best current spawns for the various resources.

and to answer your question about the experimentation, no you cannot get 100% but you might be able to get close depending on your servers resources. the max value on the tissues themselves would be +17 i think because i dont really remember what those tissues are for.

Go to the tailor tissue link in my sig. It will give you the materials you need and you can play around with the materials you have on hand to get a rough idea of the outcome. (Unless they have cleaned things up, tailor tissues are a bit more random than chef tissues.)

There are a few items you can put multiple cloths into, so you really only need +13 if you get one of those. If you go with one of those, you will need six or seven tissues worth so the tailor can make a run of identical cloths.

Ok... I'm a MCH, MS, and a bit of Ranger, I KNOW how to obtain these items. The question I feel was bypassed is DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE BEST POSSIBLE MATERIALS OF THESE THAT I CAN USE?

Welcome to the endless hunt for the best server resources. Try www.swgcraft.com - the resources section - login to get your own server - in order to see what the stats are on your server but it is a player-driven site and might not be up-to-the-minute up to date. Depends on your server really.

Another tip thatwas given on the forum by 'those who know' (not me) is that you can use really high quality wood in the place of the floral resources in some tissues but not sure if the one you want to make is one of those since *I* almost never make tissues unless I wanna make myself or my friends a cool BE outfit.

It sounds like you don't have a basic understanding of the spawn system. And you really need to understand that before you can worry about getting the BEST POSSIBLE MATERIALS. The BEST POSSIBLE MATERIALS are: milk, bone, meat, reptile meat that have 1000 OQ, 1000 PE, 1000 flavor, but that is unattainable, and in fact, unless you have access to 4 veteran resource rewards, you will very likely not even be able to come close to that anytime soon.

The quality numbers of resources on all planets shift every couple of weeks. Therefore it's not simple like: "go kill a krayt, then go kill a rancor, then go milk a faamba and you'll have a perfect, 100% tissue".

The way it works is that today the reptile meat on tatooine may be very good, but perhaps 2 months ago there was a better one, and perhaps next week it will be horrible. And so forth. So what you need to do is do what others have suggested and do some research. If you visit www.swgcraft.com you can see what the current spawns are on your server right now. You can use the tissue calculator to see how good of a tissue you can make using the best spawns at this particular time. Then you can look at some of the tools on that site (swgcraft) to look at previous spawns and see which ones you might be able to buy (or get using a veteran resource reward when you get that) to improve your stats. Being a hunter is about understanding the spawn system, keeping up with what spawns are current on your server, and knowing how to value them and who might need them. Being a tissue-maker is about hording quality materials and continually trying to improve on them over time as better and better spawns come along. Nobody can give you that on a silver platter, you have to do that yourself.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW THE BEST POSSIBLE MATERIALS OF THESE THAT I CAN USE?

For Active Tranquilizers, you don't need the best. You can use mediocre and some half-way decent okay materials and get +13 tissues. Have a Tailor put these into a sunguard or other two-slot piece of clothing and you get the maximum +25 in one item.

Don't bother searching for the best as it will be a huge waste of time, effort and credits when you can pull what you need off the bazaar for cheap in about 10 minutes.

the best possible materials you can use are the best materials you can get your hands on? if you know how to obtain these items, you must know that all resources shift, and each server has a unique set of resources; therefore your question can't be answered.

I've done some checking on SWGCreatures.com for creatures to look for. I have a simple list made out, but the hardest part will be finding which Non-Reptilian Meat or Veggie/Fruit is better for the Creature Food Slot. I'm on Chilli, but did not know resources varried per server. I have a pair of pants that give a +25 Bonus to both Taming Wild Creatures and Taming Viciouse Creatures, so I was wondering if that was the best or is there something better I shouldaim for.

Ah - you are making the same mistake I did when I was first learning about tissues.

WE don't make them at +25. The tailor makes something that is +25 using two (or more) tissues that add up to 25 (or more). In order to do this, they have to have a recipe for a peice of clothing that has 2 DIFFERENT slots for synthetic cloth. If they take 2 synth cloths in the SAME slot, they don't stack. If they are in different slots they do stack.

That means that you don't need the best of the best (listen to Lantyssa!!!! <-- person who wrote the tissue calculater on swgcreatures). You can get +25 from two +13's and +13 isn't hard to achieve.

I suggest you head over to the tailor forum and read some of the stickies there to learn about BE tissues in clothes and what you can do with them. There are a limited, very limited, number of clothes that can be made at +25 with synth cloth, and I don't think there are ANY that can be made with RFP's. (which is annoying).

You'll also want to study the way resources shift around and there are many good postings about that. swgcraft is probably the best place to hunt for stickies on that.

Also suggested reading: stickies on the ranger forum about hunting ...

Good luck to you!
