Ok, I'm not positive since I'm really not up on the whole Tailoring aspect of crafting, but is there a point in making Toughened Fibers instead of Tensile Strength tissues? With the old Enhanced Myoflex I could reliably hit +17, so I would whip up a batch of the +8 regular myoflex tissues so a tailor could use one of each to max out +25 on a piece of clothing. This was better then using multiple enhanced myoflex tissues since the regular version didn't require eggs, thus making it a lot cheaper to produce.
Well, I was comparing the ingredients to the Toughened Fibers and the Tensile Strengths...and they require the same exact amount of milk??? There's one extra resource required for the Tensiles...what was it, bone? Bone being a lot easier to get a hold of then milk I was still baffled by the devs choice of ingredients...but then I got to wondering...the Toughened Fibers, do they also go in RFP's? If they do then there is no way to "double up" on the tissues in one article of clothing, correct? So we might as well just make +13's Tensile Strength for a 2 article of clothing combo to max out the enhancement, right?
Doesn't this seem kind of pointless to anyone else? What is the exact reasoning behind having 2 versions of this tissue if they both require milk and can't be doubled up like the Synthetic Cloth tissues...granted, the melee and ranged defense bonuses are currently not working, and no matter how many times I tell people this and urge them to do their own testing they still don't believe me and buy the tissues anyway...
Hmm, so to repeat (cause you might not see the question in all that blabbering up there), is there any reason to craft Toughened Fibers (not counting the fact that the mods dont work)?
