Thread: Confused Master Doc
thanks for the reply - i need to find a prof. calculator to see if i can get MDoc/MBE, but is there ANY benefit to medical crafting to me having MBE, beyond having more things to craft, or will i be as good at xxx4 BE/MDoc as i would be at MBE/whatever Doc i can squeeze in?

interesting (if depressing) perspective - can i ask why you don't need meds to be effective? this is my crafting char and on my level 80 combat char i always have and regularly use stim-d's - would have thought there would have been some demand for those.
however, due to this input, i believe i'm going to go MBE/MDoc (with 38 points left) so that I can craft all the wonderful treats of bio-engineerdom, without sacrificng Doc, which from what i've been reading today on the doc forums, might not be far off ![]()
seems like chef is now a logical choice to go with BE, would that seem a fair assesment?

Docs have a lot of innate heals that are good without meds, so no they don't need them. Yes you can make and sell stim Ds. That is one product, a far cry from what a crafting doc use to make.
Doc now is very much a combat profession, best mixed with another combat profession, usually a melee while CM is mixed with a range profession.
If you are looking at just doing crafting then you could go BE 0404 and master artisan with chef and some merchant. Or you can decide the two vendors at master artisan is enough for you and go with master BE. Tailor is another good choice if you like that sort of profession, but it is different than say med crafting. With all the jedi and tkas BE enhanced clothes are in vogue. Food still sales, not nearly as much as it use to though and half of those sales are artisan foods. So I am not quick to recommend chef. Though a master artisan supplying meds, basic foods, swoopsand repair tools could do well if placed well.

Make your meds over 1200 power and people will see and appreciate the hard work.
My meds business is now better than it was when I made buffpacks, its all about explaining and showing examples on your galaxy forum to potential customers of whta you meds now do, combat logs are especially helpful for this.
Yes peeps have inane skills but my bacta items and cm stuff literally flies out of the door.
