Thread: advice on sampling blurgs
The only real downside is that you'll be pulling mostly "Average" DNA (and will get a lot of fails) - sampling them should work at DNA-3 (sometimes at least - although it's been a while since I actually tried it at that level).
Resists and will be OK (quality has little or no effect) - although qual does seem to be a factor in getting specials to "stick".
Certainly though you should get higher HAMs out of it than than the HT Gurrecks - but these won't be anything near what you'll get once you reach Master BE (there's a really steep "jump" in experimentation points, etc. from 4/4/4/4 to Master).
From memory though Blurrgs don't DB - so go for it!
The only way to truely learn to be a real BE is to experiment with the system - get a "feel" for it and your limits. The worst that can happen is a couple of minutes looking at the underside of a bush
