Sorry if this has been posted before, I went back through a few pages and couldn't find it posted anywhere.
I just became a BE and started making a few junk pets to sell as housing decorations on the bazaar. I tried taming one of the pets to see if a custom name would stick with taming, and noticed that the color didn't stick. Is this normal?
As far as I can tell the color sticks when placing it in a house (only tried that with one critter too).
Anyone able to tell me what the deal is?

Not all pets are affected by this - there are a handful of skins that dont retain colour but most do.
