My apologies if this has been covered in a post already. I've looked for some time to find answers on several questions, but am not having much luck.
The thing I am hoping someone can answer is this: Why is it that when I experiment during the creation of a DNA Template, that the stats on the template will decrease even if my experimentation is a success? I have had a ton of instances where I've had success of varying degrees on the Physique area but the value for the Fortitude is set to 1 when I have been successful. Anyone know why?
Thanks!

When we experiment on a stat it affects 2 values - for example experimenting of Physique affects fortitude and hardiness
When you experiment it does 2 separate rolls, one for hardiness and one for fortitude, the message you recieve is the average of the 2 results - eg a failure and a moderate sucess would be a success, but one of the numbers would go up and one would go down

thats not how it should be going, when you dont fail, all the stats just go up, what you are seeing is the biological limits of the DNA, what he is talking about is values just going down, not up, its from a varable not being copied over right
