I am a master chef and need tissues from a master bio engineer made. I have the resources needed to make the tissue but no the ability (well, not anymore). So I was wondering if a master bio engineer could craft the schematic with the resources I supply, trade the schematic over to me and then I could pop it into my own factories and use when needed.

But I am not sure a crafted schematic can be traded like that. I suppose the question could be asked in any forum, but since it is specifically bio engineer related I thought I would ask it here.

Yes.

Anakin: Master, I think my lightsaber is getting dull. Its not doing nearly as much damage as it used to.
Obi-Wan: O.k. when we're done showing the youglings around the temple, we'll stop by the bazaar and you can buy a new crystal. I hope you've got a couple million credits saved up for this.
Anakin: WHAT?!!?? I don't have THAT kind of cash!
Obi-Wan: Well you could try sharpening it on these younglings. I've got a headache and all their questions are driving me NUTS!

Obi-Wan: uh, that was a joke Anakin. I'll spot you the cash for a new crystal THIS time, but next time you're on your own.

no, no, schematics cant be traded at all *shiftyeyes*

you'll just have to....um....hold on to your resources for food and pay the BE's price for a run of your tissues! *more shiftyeyes*

yes you can but if the crafter was smart hed make you pay a lot more for it

I had one chef customer that only bought schematics off of me. He would send a quick tell, I would head to his Corellia shop and make a few schems for him with his own resources and walk away with a half-million creds for about 20 mins of time. It was a nice arrangement for me. I didn't have to bother crafting anything and made more money than I really had any use for anyway. Of course this was pre-CU and a half million creds every month went a lot farther

Yeah I see that now . Was a bit slow on picking that up as I wrote my reply after a rather lengthy gaming session.
