Thread: Long time CH, new BE confused

I am thoroughly confused about my crafted BE pets.
I have spent countless hours collecting DNA from all over the galaxy, getting incapped and killed multiple times, experimenting over and over to find the right combo for nice low level pets I can use (0001 CH - Level 14).
Yesterday I made 2 awesome level 14 pets. Both had 88 to hit, and 96 defense stats, and over 2% aggro bonus, among other nice high stats for their level/Health/Damage. After I made them, I tamed them, and checked the stats - still the same.
Tonight I log in, and both have been reset to 42 to hit and defense, and 1% aggro bonus. The other resists are lower too.
Is this a bug? Is this part of the CU nerf, er upgrade? What is the point in being a BE if everything we make gets nerfed out to a standard value for the level?
And what about my customers? Will they be buying a level 10 pet with 90% defense, and 2-3% aggro bonus just to have it nerfed once tamed?

as noted in many other threads in this forum:
armor effectiveness, to-hit, and defense values ignore the crafted and experimented values, and rewrite to a CL-based value after taming.

that's the way the new system has worked since its inception with p17. we don't know if it is working as intended, or not.

I would assume its a bug.
