As for the 12pt thing, if you're just going to do tissues then its not useful at all as far as I can tell. Every tissue that I've seen can be maxed with 10pts as far as I can tell...every one I've seen has just one line of experimentation. If you are thinking about making pets or meds, then the extra point can be put to some use. But even there it doesn't seem to be very important. On the meds all the extra points will let you do is add charges (nice, but hardly required). As for pets....well, I've never done much with pets. Perhaps someone else will offer an opinion on that one. I've heard that they are useful from a few people and read that others don't use all of their points as it is in order to keep the pet level at or below a certain point.

Good luck.

Hi there, I have an alt and I'm thinking about going BE/Tailor. I know that BE tissues in clothes are messed up now, but I think this would be fun. I'm not doing it for money, just feel like crafting. I have a few questions about BE.

I would have to grind it out, I already used my respec. How difficult would this be?

How much money would I have to devote to buying resources and what not simply for tailor tissues?

Same question about Stims.

Is it benificial for one to be a 12 Pt. BE like it is for WS or AS.

I plan on only being a tailor tissue making, possibly pet making BE, so any info on that would help much. Tomorrow I start collection the resources and grinding away, wish me luck.

Any other help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all

I like having 11 points in case something fails and I have to correct but I'm not crafting anything special - just testing so that probably means little. Kao be right.

So it IS possible to become a 12-pt BE? Everything I've read both here and in other BE-related forums indicate that this is not possible... ?? I understand that 12 pts in creature crafting may not be typically useful, but it sure would come in handy once in awhile....

there is not experimentation attachments specificaly for BE. so the stuff you read is correct. On the other hand since Med crafting has been shifted over to BE since the CU, med experimentation attachments now work for all areas of BE.

short answer: yes you can become a 12 point BE with med exp tapes.

Hope that helps now get ready to spend alot of credits to become 12 point

Tbh, with pet crafting 99% of the time you don't even use all of your 10 exp points up anyway, you tend to gear your recipes towards experimenting as little as possible so you don't exceed caps etc, so no i don't think 12pt is really much use for BE's unless you're crafting meds.

Does this mean that crafting pets will give you medical xp as well? Or does it give you BE crafting xp?

Since the CU, everything you make in the BE line now gives medical crafting xp: pets, templates, tissues, meds. The only way to get BE xp now is by blowing up bases as a BE. The only way to USE BE xp now is to convert it to FS xp in the village.

Thanks. I am fixing to start working on a CH/BE with my alt, and if i can move up the BE trees by making bad, disposable pets to train and move up the CH tree, it will make things a little easier.
