Thread: Section 13: DNA Harvesting CL Caps.
Ni-Tech Industries is closing its Biological Division with this guide to aid you on your way to victory. We had a good run and we had alot of fun, Ni-Tech was created only 2 and a half months ago though most people thought we were alot older then we were. Within the first month our revenue hit over 40 million credits, the second month it over doubled its revenue and we are ending the BE Division with over 200,0000,000 credits earned in pet sales alone. Most people that know of our Hybrid pets and how costly they were might find this next fact interesting: 99.5% of Ni-Tech's total 200 million revenue was from non Hybrid sales. Hybrids only came out within the past few weeks and did not have a large

*sigh* I know I shouldn't post like this. I think all the BEs see right thru you anyway. It's good to see you read the forums. I think in the quick scan the one new thing you are pointing out is a 950 mark for stats that boost each other in the final combine. Thanks for that research and good info.
Nice to see you still got a big head. IMHO, pets are better because people have had more time to explore and understand the system, nothing really to do with you.
So I guess what I thought might be true about you is..... here today, gone tomorrow, grab as much moneyas you could.... how unfortunate. Nice try to candy coat it, you should be a politician.

discourse? that makes me sound all scholarly.
Your posts have some useful hints and are appreciated. I will be checking out some of the creatures you mentioned when I get a chance. But, your comments on CL surprise me. I just filled a backpack full of Bull Malkloc DNA last night without dying once, even though I'm only CL 40. No one told me I couldn't sample from CL 75 creatures. Fortunately, no one told the Malklocs either. I've been sampling from CL 70-75ish creatures since I've been CL 30 and have had no problems to speak of with either sampling success rate or mask scent breaking.

...Most importantly your CL effects your success rate on the maximum CL you can harvest from. DNA Harvesting skill increases how high you can harvest from what CL, your CL designates your success within that range. ...This makes DNA Harvesting from anything higher then about 10 levels above you completely impossible (depending on CL due to diminishing returns, a CL 17 can harvest from a CL 40 at max but as your CL gets higher the maximum above you that you can harvest from lowers until it caps at 75).

Anarrion - I have bad news for you. The Malklocs have in fact, posted that they are reading the forums and are newly aware that you may not sample them. They will send a delegation to the starport to wait for you when you next hit dathomir ![]()
That's also agood point about theslots - we all owe a lot to the old-timer BE's like Sumorex and Merrl (and others I am sure who were gone long before the new-comers like me arrived on the scene) ... I remember walking around with a print out of Merrls' guide to making pets for like a week going 'hmmm ... ok ... that makes sense ... OH! must try that!'. Was fun stuff.
