Thread: Question for test center BE's about mounts.
Does anyone have a good link for how the entire mount tame/train/growth process will work?
I've got a BE and a CH. I'm thinking about creating a bunch of kaadu's and carrion spats, taming them, training them with transfer, and then selling them now. Just want to make sure that people will be able to transfer back the creatures down the road and I'll be able to teach the mount command. Basically need to know if fully grown pets of the correct type can be tought the mount command without problems. I'd heard they needed to be something like 60% grown before they could learn it. Am assuming that means any time after 60%. The main goal is to be able to preserve datapad space on the CH while doing all of this.
Anyway....going to dig around on the TC forums for more info, but if anyone is in the know the info would be appreciated.
From the clarification on the future CH changes on the CH board, non-ch pets will still be able to be traded without transfer. Currently training a mount will be in Empatyh 4. When the CH changes are made, this will be moved to Management 4 to replace /transfer which will be moving to Master.
Transfer won't be the big part of it. Basically just want to make sure that I can unload the pets immediately after taming and let people hand them back for mount training at a later date so I can conserve datapad space (basically sell a newly tamed BE'd pet for something like 10k with the offer for them to bring it back forfree mount training when it reaches a certain age). It sounds like it should work, just wanted to make sure there were no caveats to the process that I wasn't aware of.
Hi talthazar...one question then...with CH changes u mean the next patch with the mounts or the next patch that will be published in december?
Tnx
