Well... after mastering CH and getting novice Ranger it was time to decide what my nextprofession was going to be. I thought a crafting profession would be a nice change. So being a creature handler BE was the logical choice.

So I grind out the organic chemistry prereq and train as a novice BE. The first thing I need to do is go get some DNA samples so I can see how this whole thing works. I run out of Coronet, run up to a butterfly, open his radial menu... hmm... no harvest DNA button. I look through my macro list and find nothing related to DNA. So I look and see what schematics I have. Of the 3 choices the Kaadu is the only one that I remember seeing in the wild. Now in my head I thought... "to make a Kaadu I must need to sample from a Kaadu".

I buy a ticket, wait for the shuttle, and travel to Naboo where Kaadu's run rampid. Imagine my disappointment when I find the perfect specimen and... no harvet DNA button. I give up... I'll run back to Moenia and see if I can find someone who knows how to do this. /Yell Is there a BE around that can tell me how to sample DNA please? Nothing... So I buy a ticket back to Coronet where surely a BE is sitting there just waiting to help me. /yell Is there a BE around that can help a newbie get started?... nothing.

Well the next logical step is to go to the message board. Being a CH and seeing the same questions asked daily in the CH forum I thought it might be better to do a search rather than ask (what I thought at the time was) a stupid question that's probably been asked 100 times.

Low and behold! /sampledna? THAT'S IT? An hour and a half wasted and all I had to do was create a macro that says /sampledna?

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and say hey as the newest (and newbiest) BE on the block. If anyone on flurry needs a Kaadu or a Bearde Jax with a HAM of about 15 let me know
