Hi all. Made Master last night (on Valcyn) - finally got that last bit of DNA Sampling exp.

Put up my MBE tag, and 10 minutes later I get a /tell from a CH saying that he wants 20+ CL12-15 pets to help him grind through CH.

I'm like sure! My first customer!

...then, "Hmm.. how much do I charge?"

A mate told me that the actual organic resources used when making the pet don't matter so much - it's the DNA used that determines the HAM/Specials/Resists and therefore CL of the clone.

How do people price their pets? I was thinking something to do with HAM, with add-on price for armour and resists, and subtractions for vulnerabilities, graded against CL. But seriously, at this stage, I really have no idea.

So, to our established Master BEs - how do you price your clones?

I use a program I wrote called BECalc (link below).

There are a lot of options that you can play with (under Edit->Options) to adjust the pricing if you think the defaults are tooexpensive or too cheap (the prices I use are a tiny bit lower than the defaults and I sell a lot, so I don't think it's too far out to what will get you fair sales).
