Thread: Odd question: Do seperate D.o.T attacks stack from the same pet?
Now I know that things like healthshot 1 and 2 will stack in their bleeds. But i was thinking about pets, since we can control their special attacks if we stick two poison attacks into the same clone does it mean that they'll stack much like a players special attacks. Same with diseases. Now personally I dunno, I'm not even sure if it can be answered since such a species has existed before. But since the CHs on the TC can tell a pet to use certain special attacks it might be worth checking this out since it's valuable information for our customers.
yea poisons stack.
we dont know if there will be a timer on pet special attacks or not though, but chances are having 2 identical specials would just be a waste of a special slot since the same poison attack can be repeated. not only that, but i dont think it would even be possible to put the same attack on two seperate slots. it would be better to add something that would compliment the poison. open wounds and poison spray might go well together. a problem with spamming creature poison/bleed attacks could be that theres no way to ensure that they apply to the same pool.
maybe 2 AoE DoT'sis overkill. we are gonna have to figure out which is more powerful. im not even sure i want an AoE DoT. strong poison might be enough. besides, poison spray is sloppy. it would most likely draw unwanted aggro... of course if i make the creature tough enough itmaynotreally matter. heh... i cant wait to try spamming AoE poison.
