Brackaset, Falumpaset, and all others of the same body type have a minimum CL of 20.

seems like this was done on purpose. kinda crappy if you ask me.

It makes sense in that its not fair to ch's to have non-chs running around with the same type of pets, just with worse stats. Someone with no ch skills should not be able to manage something the size of a falumpaset or rancor or whatever...

Your argument might hold if it weren't for the fact that the developers went and released low level versions of all the mounts into the wild for CHs to tame for non-CHs to ride.

Talth can you add this to the list of concerns? Get the minimums on them dropped down to 10?

Way ahead of you Sumo, added it to my list for Keldarin as soon as I noticed it this weekend. Not sure if anything will come of it, but it's there.

Considering they stated that BE's would be able to give non-ch's these types of mounts, I think its pretty crappy for them to put in an artificially high CL to the bodytypes. Hope it pans out for you guys.

Maybe you can get the BE bantha to be the only ones able to be made into mounts... considering that Bantha's are supposed to be only rideable by Tuskan's, it would make sense that BE's would be able to make a variant that is mountable by anyone.

Lol, can just picture people riding around on midget albino bantha's right now =)

**edit** funny, but...
This is a serious issue as far as I am concerned, as we were promised the ability to make mounts of all types for all players, if I remember right.

You and I both remember these things being said. I wonder if the devs remember they were said also.

Thanks Talthazar.

This is just one of the many little things that could very well slip thru the cracks because of the unknowable nature of the cloning system.

I'm sure it'll take a week or so before the CH's find the pet that trumps all of ours. Just sooooooo much stuff that is probably going to go unnoticed because we lack a system of instructions. Having to figure out the cloning system before turning to balance issues is going to a major pain in the butt when it hits live.

This change... you know, the one where no one listens toour problemsfor months changing to us mentioning a problem and it being fixed the next day? It's a good change.

Doesn't surprise me. Funny (in a not so funny way) that we can lower stats on an animal which is still only available to creature handlers. What is the point of lowering the CL of an animal which can only be sold to a creature handler? How many creature handlers come to you and ask, "gee I'd love to buy that bantha but can you lower the creature level first?" How many non-rancor graul types do you sell to creature handlers anyway?
