Heyas. I'm an MCH on Naritus and My greatest dream as a CH is to have a Kimogila (I already fulfilled my other great dream, to get a Plains Hunter.) I would like to open this thread to the following questions. What pets would be best to sample for the best stats, What those stats can be, and Wether or not its even possible when we get to live. Thanks to all who post here!

\#ff1490\ The Fuschia Family, Glowing at the universe, because its a dark place
The Pink Ranger, because Pink is the best color to hide in.
Camp Free, Camp strong, and dont let the wookiee near the HTFB's Barbeque.
The Nair cannon, the final solution to the shedding problem in the galaxy
If this game were any more screwed, it would come with a free hotel room.

When the new cloniung changes go live you will be able to request a custom built Kimogila with CL, resists, and special attacks of your choosing. Obviously, rhere will be some limitations, we won't be able to craft a level 20 Kimogila with light armor, 10k health, and a knockdown attack but we would be able to make one like that with a CL of about 45 or so.

Special attack(s) That implies more than one. I can get a kimo with KD and poison? And does anyone know what the max stats would be for a CL 60 Kimogila? And what colors I can get? I want to give my friendly Neighborhood MBE all the specifics I can so he dosent have to guess what I want. And how big are the BE Kimo's? Anyone seen one? Please post! The boards dont work if no one posts!

as a MCH you should shoot for CL 70.

at that level, based on other creatures in that area plus the BE bonus, you will most likely be looking at 14k HAM, light armor, 60% resist where it counts, 700-800 dmg for a balanced pet. and yes, you can have knockdown and strong poison. this all depends on the BE finding the right donor creatures, of course, butif not this *exact* template, then something very very close. of coursethistemplate, if possible, could be placed into ANY creature under the new system.

ill tell you my plan, but dont tell anyone else (shhh ).....

im gonna have 2Kimas, how cool would those things look at the size of a razor cat? well im gonna need to do quite a bit of shifting points around the template, experimenting to get the perfect CL

Ravenous Giant Kima Enforcer (pure white fur) - CL 35

HAM: 4k-6k area

Resists: 30% or so - no armor

Specials: Knockdown / Posture Down

DMG - 800+ (maxed out)

VisciousGiant KimaProtector(black ash fur)- CL 35

HAM: 4k-6k area

Resists: 30% or so - no armor

Specials: Dizzy / Intimidation (or Stun... or Strong Poison.. havent decided yet)

DMG - 800+ (maxed out)

if everything works out, these two will be unstoppable together. im going to have to test it a lot, but im hoping to perfect my technique in the lab and on the field to a point where their HAM wont matter since they will never take a hit. thats my first project once ive settled into the new system. it promises to be a trying adventure that im really looking forward to, whether i succeed or not.

lol . very nice ..

Personally if its possible i'm shooting for 3 creatures . a single cl 70 bunny (monty python anyone?)

Then a pair of 35 Jax's (these were always too cute)

personally thinking one KD /Blind and second Dizzy / Intimidate

of course unless we get a flyer ..

ooh ooh! forgot about blind!! thats another one for my list... hmm what to do.

if there is any kind of timer on specials i may have to give both my kimas knockdown/dizzy.... i do just adore the damage bonus with posture down, but im not sure how it would work along with knockdown. blind is a very nice alternative though.

btw, "crippling strike" is posture down, right?

also: what the heck is "open wounds" ? is it a DoT combo special, or just a massive wounding of the target?

i really want to get a list of all the combo specials and exactly what they do... like the AoE statusspecials! AoE Strong Poison anyone?

well . I know in the case of the Ancient Bull Rancor that supposedly has "Open Wounds" and "Area Combo's" . he does area diseases and an area bleed type effect . I've killed enuf of these to Always stay far enuf away and only run in to pop a stim c/d heal on my pet. his disease will have u running around with 1 Action Pool and 999/1000 Wounds in less than a minute it seems. hope that may help on a couple..

Remember also the Kimo in the picture was just tamed and so was as small as absolutely possible for them to be. It was lvl 40 which is the minimum and we are told that also affects overall size. Lvl 70 should be significantly larger. P.S. PLEASE promise to store it when you get to town?!!!

Oh, But I want to parade my (Fully grown) Kimo through Theed Just once! Not fight with it, not PVP (I hate doing PVP. ) just have it prance through Theed once! After I do that, I promise, no more Kimo's in Towns! (Except the town where I live. It will see my Kimo a lot hehe )

Thanks everybody! I'm getting 2 kimo's also. one CL 60 (So I can use a mount) with KD and strong poison and bleed if I can, and one CL 70 (Black, named Unicron) With KD, Poison, and Bleed. Both with armor, resists specialising in kinetic and energy and hopefully BIG. That kimo in the screenshot was small. What CL was it? Anyone know? I mean, cmon! Wild kimos are bleepin enourmous! Area disease sounds nasty, but frankly, nothing I go up against lasts long enough to live through the effects of the disease. I go hunting in groups with my guild, and Last night I was on Endor Bluurg hunting, and it was taking us 30 seconds a Bluurg. This is for 4 people, and a Rancor. When I solo'd a Venom filled Spider later, that took longer (**edit** thing attacked me on the way back to the research outpost and I'd gotten seperated from my group. If I hadnt had a rancor, And I wasnt a Commando, I'd have died.) Anyone have an Idea when Kimos go live?

Heh. That would be hilarious. A bit more on topic, and something I should have posted right off the bat. Critters I think would make great samples for a Kimo. (Dont know If BE's can sample them but here I go)

Frenzied Graul (cl 56-57 I think, great resists even after the nerf, light armor, the whole 9 yards)

Ancient graul (lower cl, lower resists, but not too much. Easier to find I think.)

Ancient Rancor (has all kinds of specials, light armor, high resists, you name it.)

Gnarled Rancor (Has knockdown I believe, light armor, basically Rancor "light")

Gaping Spider Queen (Strong Poison, High stats, All around good sampling material)

Blood Drenched Merek King (If you can find one, and if you can sample one, this would probably make for strong poison, high resists, and interesting specials.)

Mantigrue Screecher (High resists, Good ham, and hard hitting/fast acting disease)

Now, I realize these are all nasty critters, (The nastiest of the nasty frankly) and will probably be a royal pain to sample. The chances of dying while sampling are high. I can already hear BE's out there groaning. Well, Let me say this. There is al least one CH out there that is willing to A) say thank you/send all his friends to you, and B) pay appropriately for your efforts to build a custom pet to his exacting specifications. I have a friend thats 1 box away from MBE, and Ive heard her talk about BE a bit. Ive gone with her sometimes as a bodyguard when she's gone sampling for XP. So I know how fast things can get nasty for you BE's. Its Poke-Poke RUN LIKE HELL half the time. And Most CH come demanding max everything with no clue of what it takes, and dont wanna pay the prices you ask. But when My friendly neighborhood MBE said 100K for a Kimo, I didnt even blink, I just forked over the cash cause I knew he'd work hisrear off getting me the critter I wanted. I may pester him a bit for updates on kimos, and with order updates (A change in special attacks, resistance priorities, stuff like that) but I know he will work hard, and in the end, I'll have a great pet that will last me a long time.
