Hi, I'm having trouble getting a working macro to grind DNA Sampling. I've only have 50k more DNA Sampling EXP to go but I'm so very bored. I'd like to set up my toon to gather DNA while I watch TV.

I'm not able to get /ui action targetSelf to work or /ui action cycleTargetOutwards

I've been a BE for months but never bothered to gather much DNA. With the new clone system coming out I can't wait tohit Master. As a master CH I've been daydreaming about what pets I'm going to be able to play with after the changes.

Do it by hand or not at all!

Even if you got it working...you'd likely end up in the cloning center within the 10 minute/3 incap limits.

Maybe a change of venue will help. I leveled DNA IV on Dantooine on Pickets mostly. Get some Fishak for the mind and go at it man. You've got at least 10 days or so till the patch which gives you plenty of time to get in the door.

Macro wouldnt work with the creatures dieign and the random aggro rates.

Grab some Ormachek and some Muon Gold -- you can get the 50k in a few house on dantooine with picket missions --- also if you are a scout mask scent and sample anything you see on the way

Right... with the dying and aggro of creatures you sample, a macro won't do you much good. You'd be better off the old fashioned way.

I posted one a couple days ago about a DNA sampling macro with some very minor mod's it does turn into a complete hands free sampling macro . (but that u have to figure that on your own) Mainly i do not believe in hands free macroing . i like assisted macroing . but not hands free.

once u have the macro planned set it to an alias and macro the alias . before u know it u are watching tv.

But you still have to check back every 20 minutes to empty your backpack, or come back from the cloning center. depends on what you are sampling and where.

ps . target self and outward still do work . i use it inall of my combat macro's.
