With the new patch can you stunt the size of the creatures now? Like keeping a baby rancor that size forever.

Good question

It would be cool to have a pigmy rancor

If you can not, maybe that is something we could ask for later down the line...some kind of growth inhibitor that could be added to the final combine?

As I understand it, it won't be possible to surrender growth of a creature. However, the way the final CL is determined has changed, and size is supposed to scale with levels.

If this is true, a rancor at its minimum level of 35 *should* be around 2/3 the size of a current rancor, where a CL 70 rancor might grow to 40% larger than the current ones.

There were some folks on TC that were going to test to see if the scaling does work that way, but so far I think it's mostly speculation.

To answer your core question, though: No.. You won't be able to keep a baby rancor that size in terms of level or size
