If the rumors from TC are true and DNA sampled pre-patch will not work in the new system then dang it... I'm out about 200 quality DNA samples. Should I save them and hope for the best or just make what I can from them and try to make some quick cash?

make rancors from it all. you should be able to sample your clones with the new system that will all be CL50. though, we dont know for sure on that, but worth the try.

thats probably the best thing to do, even though samples from clones reportedly have very awkward stats.
worst come to worst you can sell all the rancors. even the ones that dont come out good can still go for 20-40k.

Are we still able to sample from our Creature Deeds then? I thought it was posted a couple days ago, that even deeds weren't sampleable?

Pretty sure we can sample from our own deeds, I recall Tal-N saying something like we could still make okay critters it will just take 10 generations instead of the 3 it takes now.

Deed sampling reportedly does work again on TC, although one thing to keep in mind while trying to do the Refinement method under the new system is that the new DNA stats come directly from the creature (clone) you're sampling..
What that means is if you make a clone of any type with trash DNA it will still have trashy stats and will be missing specials, resists, etc, unless the original donors had it also.
Also by reading the various experiments happening on TC, there's a chance that a special won't come through to the next generation, so each generation of clone you make and then sample you run an increasing risk of losing it, although you might be increasing other things such as HAM and possibly resists.
Just food for thought.
As for what to do with your old dna: I know I am personally going to be making Rancors and Gurrecks out of the better parts, the Tortons, Bols, Anglers and the like out of what's not "Rancor quality" in my opinion. Worse case, I can sell them. Best Case, I can get some decent "Type A" samples from them post-patch.

Just to be clear, I'm not sure on this. No one really had pre-patch dna to test on TC.

Well looks like i'll be making a Lot of different creatures soon .. have at least 1000 dna samples laying around my house... ... uhg .. hehe i was almost hoping they would be useless then i wouldn't feel compelled to do anything with them.

1000 dna samples would take 7 medium size houses to hold. You must have several accounts
