Thread: Best to craft to get to novice BH
I checked through the FAQs to make sure this wasn't covered...and it's not. For all I know, it might be in the Doctor or Combat Medic forums, but I didn't go look.
Theoptimum grind item would be Advanced Biological Effect Controllers, requiring 18 Tattoine Fiberplast and 18 Lokian Wild Wheat each. There are frequently sucky shifts of these resources, so most Bio-Engineers, Medics, Doctors, and for all I know, Combat Medics, have stacks of these resources with crappy stats. Buy what you can of them and grind away. You'll probably be doing a lot of it as soon as you level to BE, so why not go cross-eyed a little sooner? ![]()
As you're part of a guild, you can also actually make Med Stim B's out of the advanced components (or plain ones, but they're better if you use advanced components) and hand 'em out to your guildies. When they use the last charge of the stim, you get UXP if you're online. (It may work if you're offline...I haven't checked for that in a long while. But I think UXP when you're not on is chancy, if it works at all.) If you hand-make all the components and the stims, you'll make quite a bit of Med Crafting XP.
I did Stimpack A's right up through organ chem1 to novice BE. *shrug* it didn't take terribly long to do, I think I did it in a night.
Skep
I just did regular BECs in practice mode all the way through organic chem and stopped when I was able to get novice BE. My guild already has medics and docs, so there wasn't a demand for me to make low stat subcomponets. And the resources for a standard BEC are cheap and easy to obtain.
