Hi all ![]()
I've been a MCH for a long time now, but I'm still confused about some specials, for example what does "Crippling Strike" really do? Is it a stun, dizzy or what?
I'm also wondering why I see people wanting Strong Poison instead of Strong Disease, is it because the poison ticks more often or is stronger?
If someone could explain the different special names, what they do and what specials you think is best and why, I would be very grateful.
Its kinda hard to order BE pets when I'm not sure what the specials I want are called.... ![]()
Thanks!
Mirazul.

Crippling strike appears to be a posture down attack. From stand to kneel. From kneel to prone.

Crippling strike and dizzy are good for pets vs NPC's. That results in a knockdown that they have trouble getting up from. This should be used on melee pets only, if they're using a ranged attack its likely the NPC is using ranged also, so it has no effect because the NPC won't try to stand up.

Disease causes wounds while poison causes damage. While fighting NPCs poison is far more useful. You don't really care about wounding because they aren't going to heal themselves. It also hits a lot harder, more often. Disease is a longer lasting but slower acting effect than poison. It's most useful in PvP because it causes wounds which will not be healed in the middle of a battle. Somebody could stim themselves repeatedly to counteract poison.

Wounds are good for PvP only. PvE the creature is dead before the wounds add up to anything.
