Please excuse my ignorance. BEs make pets, right? Can you guys reccommend the best pet for a non-CH?

So far BEs can not make good non-Ch (lvl15) pets! Get yourself a cowardly gurreck or a rock beetle.

After patch (some call it nerf, I call it a change) things look different. As a non CH you will only be allowed to have one pet and a max lvl of 10. I guess you would like to have a mount and here is where the BEs come in. We can make better kaadus and carrions than the onesyou will find in the wilderness, so I guess that one of these two will be good for you. At least untill there is no new information about the changes.

It is kind of hard to talk about what we will make after the patch. They are talking about adjusting armor and resists on all critters under CL 30. Right now our Carrion Spat looks like it will be pretty nice, but who knows what will happen later.

Cowardly Gurreck? They are overrated. I wish i could duel one of my Kamurras with them. It would give me great joy seeing the fight 2/3 over and the Gurreck runs off.

I am duelling pets all the time. I dueled my Kusak with a crummy made Razor cat that only had about 6500 ham. I think if we would have let the fight go, the kusak would have won. hehe.

I dueled my Kusak with a GSP. the Kusak was at half and it looked like the GSP was not hurt at all. Stopped the fight and the Kusak had 1500 damage and the GSP had 1200. THats not bad. But we are compareing a CL 16 pet with 3500 ham and a CL 23 pet with 8000 ham. The Kusak hits for 200 at 2.3, the Razor for 260 at 2.0.

I dueled my Kusak with a Kamurra. Still don't know how that Kamurra did that well. I got that same feeling one time when my son beat me in arm wrestling. Kusak was winning, but not by much.

I offer to heal the other pet if they aggree.

But ok, so I was off point...

CL 10 is comming up. I had a Carrion spat as my first pet. They are extreemely fast. They get into a fight instantly. They do well for a pet with like 1100 ham. Hit hard too. Its a shame that the Gualama does not fit.

I have to say that the kadue soaks a lot of damage to be as low as it is. After patch I would suspect that after the patch / nerf / whatever you should Ph34R DA DU as the next NonCH uber pet.

Right now, I would recommmend the Kahumurra. I have duel mine several times against rock beetles and cowardly gurrek and beat them repeatedly. After patch, we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Can't run tests before the product is testable, we can only make assumptions.

Thanks for the info, guys. No, I wasn't looking for a mount, vesnaz. I waslooking for a combat pet. But now thatI learnI can only have one pet post-publish, I'll probably make that pet a mount.

What will happen if I have two pets before the publish? Will I get to keep them?

I'm still unclear about what my best options are for a non-CH combat pet. I guess its just not a clear-cut answer. M'arachino, are you saying that a Kadu is the current non-CH uber pet?

My recommendation: go to a high level BE that specializes in critters, get yourself a Spat and a kahmurra, then you're set no matter what happens. You have a great non-CH pet to do missions with for now, you have your future mount, and you also have one of the better fighting non-CH pets for the future. Simple.
