Hi;

Some things I'm interested in knowing about sampling:

1) When you sample mobs in the wild they *may* get mad and attack you right?

2) Can you sample pets of like a CH friend or your own? And if so, from the sounds of it, this will damage / lower the HAM?

3) Does sampling from higher lvl mobs give better results / XP?

Thanks.

1.
Yes that is right, and it happens alot.

2.
Nope sorry that is no longer allowed in this game, no sampling from pets.

3.
Usually the collected DNA will be better, but then it depends on what you are making and what DNA you are using.

To understand this last bit....say you get some high level DNA, it will be just as good for anything creature you make that is a lower level then the DNA you are using....exactly the same.
So its best to use lower DNA for lower creatures and Higher DNA for the HIgher creatures.
There are exceptions to this rule, but it is unknown what DNA works best for which creature types.
Like for example I useed Capper spineflap DNA for the mind stuff for a kahmurra, and worked very well.

Go figure :/
