My question for more experienced bioengineers: is damage dealt by poison attacks from b-e creatures a set rate determined by the type of poison or is it affected by the creatures damage rating, or some other factor?

strong poison will always do 110 health damage a tick, no matter what skin its in or what sample the strong poison comes from or what the final stats of the creature is, on BE creatures, AFAIK.

Mild Poison has 60 Dam, Medium Poison 90 Dam, and Strong Poison 110 Dam... as far as I can remember the duration and damage speed of this is also determined by the strength of poison, so Strong hits at a faster rate, for longer, and Mild for a slow rate for a short period of time.
The type of Damage done is random. Once time it might be Mind, another time Health, but it's always Primary stats.
And Jekk's right, the skin, level, or stats don't affect the Poison, just as long as it says it on the DNA Template that goes into the pet, then you'll get it. The to Hit Speed or Accuracy may help get it to stick, but thats all down to Random chance, ala DoT Weapons.
I think there's a set Potency of 50% for all Animal (NPC, Pet, or BE) Posions / Diseases, though this number may be wrong.
