I have noticed that lots of ppl are bashing BE and CH (my profs), mostly the ppl who play these classes. If you feel like you may fit into this group I have a real life quest for you that will change your mind.

Dig out or rent whatever games you were playing a year ago (pre-SWG)

Play one of these games as long and as often as you play SWG

Think to yourself, "this game BLEEPing BLEEPs my BLEEPing BLEEP

Return to SWG with a huge grin

For me this involved DAoC and Madden and it took about an hour of each before i realized I'm gonna be a rabid SWG player for a long time.

This message is just a (sad) attempt at comedy and will drop to the depths of the board faster than force run 3 but if you actually do this, please reply and let me know how well it worked for you.

I did it with both Everquest and Neverwinter Nights. NWN doesn't actually suck and I have a pretty rabid fun base for my persistent world --- but SWG is more fun for me as a player. (took a break from SWG starting in April, came back at end of June)

My husband and I played everquest, then bought swg and played it, then we got horizons and played it.... then we ran screaming from horizons back to everquest. Then we came back to swg and have been here happily for many months, weeven brought some of our everquest guildies with us and started an swg guild

Nothing compares to the ability to take a few random classes out and actually be able to do something together, no matter what you have there. I love the crafting things people actually BUY. SWG is a good game, with some faults... I'm not sure there are any good games without faults out there so it's just a matter of finding the one you can live in the best.

Tried it with DAoC - paid for a month after some friends badgered me into it, logged in, after about 45 minutes I'd had enough and immediately quit it again
