Thread: Gurrcat Trouble?

I just learned Bio-Eng II this afternoon and was looking forward to making some Gurrcats to try on a hunt. When I made the first one, with good successes, I was shocked that the primary HAMs were less that 700 each. Using the same material I quickly made a dewback to see if there was some overall HAM nerf but I was able to make them with the same abilities as before (primary HAMs ~ 3600 each).

I thought Gurrcats had primary HAMs well over 6000...

Thoughts?

Corellian gurrcats should be about 800 ish. I think. And please don't yell oter BEs but dewbacks should be at least at 2. Mabe 3. Although if all our pets were tamable. . . .oh, but I dare to dream.

Sample humbabas or something with higher difficult and ham than the gurrcat that you are making. You'll then be able to experiment up HAM bars a lot better.

Best Gurrcat I've managed so far:

Health 839

Action 796

Mind 808

Attack 2.54

To Hit 0.36

Damage 101-114

Experimentation on these is totally borked. I went from an incredibly good DNA template (all 90+%), used good flora and meat.... and my experimentation bumped stats a meager 14pts or so. Until they fix the clone combines we won't see significantly better pets than what you get in the wild.

Also, were you thinking of the Gurreck?Thats a 10k HAM 500hitter cat.

I saw someone on Naritus with a bio-engineerd gurrcat that had 47% resists and, according to its new proud owner, 10k HAM, strong poison attack and 400 damage. Is this within the norms for bio-engineered pets? If so, these are better than grauls and graul maulers after the changes made to 'natural' creatures. I'd like to get a couple of these if results like those can be expected.

I made a CL 34 Gurrcat usingSlinking Volitor dna (cant remember the lizard name exactly) from Dantooine.

The cat has armor, range attack, strong poison, and does 320 damage...ham is between 7.8k-11k

No, I don't 'like' it...I WANT it Or one similar to it But I know you can't reveal where you got it so I'm trolling for another BE to create a similar one, if they can be duplicated.
