Ok I know that we can't train the pets we make. Or can we? Can we use the pets we make even if we are not a CH? I know this a noob question but I want to make sure I make the right decision for the rest of my skill pts. Should I go for CH also? What are the good templates for a BE? tks guys.

Can we use the pets we make even if we are not a CH? Only if its a non-ch pet (CL 10 or less)

The pets still need to be trained by a CH, but that's been answered pretty clearly by Those Who Posted Before Me.
I've found the BE/CH combo to be very satisfying so far. There's quite a bit of satisfaction in making your own pets - I shocked myself by creating a level 17 bearded Jax using mostly Lok Salt Mynock DNA...he's still my heavy hitter. Reminds me of the killer rabbit from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"
From a financial perspective, I've found that dropping a few "trash DNA/mount only" Dewbacks on the Theed and Coronet bazaars covers the bills nicely when I don't feel like hunting for cash
I'm currently 1-1-1-1 in BE and 1-2-1-1 in CH...so it's actually quite fun lower in the ranks. No massive grind to master needed to enjoy either career.
