Ok my friend asked me to make this pet for him, but im new to BE and every attempt ive made has ended tragicaly.
He wantedA Gurreck with:
High ham(as much possible for lvl 20)
High Kinetic and Energy Resists(i thought maybe Voritor Trackers would be great for this)
Light armor if possible not neccsasary(Slim to none chance i know)
Knockdown and Dizzy specials
I mean everything ive tried has been lvl 31 or over lvl 25....it needs to be below 20, so if any of you could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

I think the important thing is to have a game planbefore you start making the pet. Know whether you're trying for armor or not, know whether you're going to try for knockdown/dizzy (ugh, you realize those specials are worthless right?) and then have some concept of the tradeoffs you're willing to make to achieve the goals (i.e. if you really want "max" ham, that necessarily means introducing more vulnerabilities and nerfing the damage and to-hit values as much as possible).
Some dna suggestions might be grassland voritor tracker or prowling gurreck to get you the resists you want, and then maybe mixing in something like some of the high end thunesto get you some extra vulnerabilities (like thune heard leader or hostile thune mother) and then add something to give you the specials you want (like grizzled dewback if you really want knockdown/dizzy), and that should get you what you want. It will take probably 3 generations of dna sampling to get what you want in a CL 20 package, but it should be pretty doable.

So specials dont worh eh?
well then just help me get the Resists. I mean armor would be sweet but i didnt know if it was actualy doable at lvl 20 i thought it had to be like lvl 30 or higher.

No, those specials aren't the best. Knockdown doesn't work on creatures and can't be used on command. Dizzy is an ok attack, but unless you have a knockdown ability yourself and are going against a NPC its useless.

Typical Chef eh....well i dont see you over there in the chef forums sticking up for BE's. Im new to making pets, and yes ive read the FAQ sheet.
Anyways, Explain it to me. No matter what ive tried the resists never seem to stick right, and if i get a good resists its by accident and on a lvl 30, I even tried that DNA labratory at SWG creatures.com and that didnt work at all. I mean it was close but no where near what the actual results were. Once i wake from my coma ill post what ive been using maybe you can tell me what im doing wrong.

I'm not sure on that I've use pistol Melee defence on creature's before and it seems to knock them flat no probs.

he means the pet's KD special doesnt work, its bugged...creatures can be KDed no problem, but even dizzy they stand right back up again anyway.
Creatures CAN, however, use crippling strike, which lowers enemies to kneeling, and then if they're dizzy when they stand up they can KD themselves =)
A good creature for a dizzy/cripple combo is a Piket Longhorn Female off Dant, thats what I use, and you're there for the voritors anyway.
